Three films. The Pirates Of Penzance - Famous comic opera following the story of Frederic, an apprentice pirate. It turns out he was meant to be apprenticed to a "pilot", but his nurse-maid was somewhat deaf... On the last day of Frederic's apprenticeship as he plans to take his leave, he happens to meet the daughter of Major General Stanley, and they fall in love. A battle of wits begin between the pirates and the Major General as the other pirates also take a fancy to the Major Generals other daughters. The Mikado - The D'Oyly Carte Opera Company perform The Mikado, set in 19th Century Japan. It is the story of the son of the Mikado who, to escape the affection of an older woman, disguises himself, but falls in love with a girl who is betrothed to the Lord High Executioner.
