Shelter From The Storm - A Concert For The Gulf Coast
On 9th September 2005, stars put on a one hour concert in aid of the victims, and to honour the heroes, of Hurricane Katrina. Filmed in New York and LA, a great line up of performers including U2, Foo Fighters, Mary J Blige, Alicia Keys and Kanye West, were joined by celebrities such as Bruce Willis, Jack Nicholson and Julia Roberts in the concert which raised millions of dollars for the relief effort. Among the highlights are: U2 performing 'One' with Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys leading a gospel revival, FooFighters covering Creedence Clearwater Revival's 'Born On The Bayou' and Jack Nicholson serenading a caller to the donation hotline with a song from the 'Sound Of Music'.
