The programme features rarely seen game footage and photos as well as interviews with teammates, opponents and prominent African-American historians including Jackie's Dodger teammates Carl Erskine, Don Newcombe, Clem Labine, Duke Snider and Spider Jorgensen. Also featured are Monte Irvin, Yogi Berra, Dave Anderson, Mrs. Rachel Robinson (Jackie's widow) as well as historians Christopher Moore, Michelle Spruil and Howard Dodson.
