Not only does this durable accent chair swivel 360º on its natural rubberwood base, it also reclines and has a special system to support your head and neck. This ensures that when you recline your head and neck don't follow the same extreme angle as the rest of your body - meaning that you can recline and still watch TV rather than the ceiling light! The Casper also has a tension adjustment handle, so that anybody sitting in it can tweak the tension to ensure a smooth recline according to their weight. The chair has a steel frame and moulded foam cushion covered in Nordic top grain leather. This leather is treated to disguise imperfections in the grain and given a tough protective finish against minor abrasions, liquids and staining. A traditional leather armchair with a "gentlemen's club" look with its button back and scrolled arms with stud detailing. It has a beech and birch frame that's been glued and dowelled for strength, and it has a firm foam seat cushion softened by a feather pad, on steel zig zag springs. Its front feet are handcrafted beech (the back form part of the frame), but the full grain "Edwardian" semi-aniline leather is what really determines its character as no 2 chairs will look exactly alike.
